Vancouver Justice Access Centre: Self-help and Information Services

The Self-Help and Information Services opened as a pilot project in 2005 at the Vancouver Law Courts (Robson Square). The goal of the centre is to help people with family or civil matters that may go to Supreme Court, but who are not represented by a lawyer.

The centre provides a drop-in service where people can:

  • learn about the court system and court procedures,
  • get legal information,
  • locate and fill out the relevant court forms,
  • find out about free legal advice, and
  • find alternatives to court.

For more information about the centre, visit its website.
