How Do I Order a Transcript of a Hearing or Trial?

Transcripts of judicial proceedings are prepared upon request, for a fee, by private contractors. Contact the court registry where the hearing was held to find out what companies or individuals are authorized to produce the transcripts. You will need to know:

  • whether the hearing was in Provincial or Supreme Court;
  • the date of the hearing; and
  • the file number.
