Does the ministry ever hire articling students once they've finished their terms?

Yes, in recent years more than half of the students have been hired by the ministry. In addition, certain employment opportunities are open only to ministry articling students. Each year the number of opportunities for students depends on the availability of jobs, budget, the student's performance and other factors.
