Justice, Education and Employment Law Group
The Justice, Education and Employment Law Group advises ministries and government agencies in the justice system or whose programs deal with education, employment or labour law issues.
The Group provides solicitors' opinions and advice on contracts, statutory interpretation, administrative appeals and judicial reviews.
The emphasis in this rotation is providing general solicitor's advice and administrative law advice to:
- government statutory decision makers, and
- education, employment law and government regulatory programs.
The Group also provides advice on the justice system including:
- youth and adult corrections,
- court services, police services, and
- crime victims compensation.
