What is administrative justice?

Administrative justice is the opportunity — or in some cases, the requirement — to have disputes resolved or rights determined by a specialized body instead of the court. Those specialized bodies are typically referred to as tribunals, with individual tribunals often called a board or commission (for example, the Labour Relations Board and the Forest Appeals Commission).
